Accounting Officer (AO)

Previously the Principal at Lordswood Boys' School, having moved the school from ‘Inadequate’ to ‘Good’ Ofsted grade. In 1 year, progress 8 at Lordswood Boys' School moved from -0.52 to +0.36. Lee specialises in developing powerful leaders, transforming behaviour and enrichment in schools and has extensive experience of implementing the primary-secondary transition model, including leadership of The Foundation Studies Programme. Prior to this, Lee spent a number of years experience working on school improvement and educational transformational change projects. 

Consultant Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Amy Maude joins CAT as Consultant CFO, bringing extensive experience in academy finance. A qualified AAT professional and accredited Xero advisor, she has supported trusts of all sizes through MLG Education Services since 2016.

Specialising in financial reporting, system implementation, and ESFA compliance, Amy has overseen finance operations for multiple trusts. Her short-term appointment ensures stability while CAT recruits a permanent CFO, leveraging MLG’s deep knowledge of the trust’s finances since 2017. She will report to the Board of Trustees and work closely with the Accounting Officer to maintain financial oversight.
