CEO/ Executive Headteacher
Accounting Officer (AO)
Previously the Principal at Lordswood Boys' School, having moved the school from ‘Inadequate’ to ‘Good’ Ofsted grade. In 1 year, progress 8 at Lordswood Boys' School moved from -0.52 to +0.36. Lee specialises in developing powerful leaders, transforming behaviour and enrichment in schools and has extensive experience of implementing the primary-secondary transition model, including leadership of The Foundation Studies Programme. Prior to this, Lee spent a number of years experience working on school improvement and educational transformational change projects.
Chief Financial & Operations Officer (CFOO)
Laurence brings a broad range of financial, operational and governance experience to Central Academies Trust, including significant experience gained within the YMCA sector. Having previously supported the Trust in a governance and advisory capacity, he has developed a strong understanding of both CAT and Lordswood Boys’ School and their strategic priorities. As CFOO, Laurence provides executive oversight across finance, operations, estates, compliance and organisational development, working closely with the CEO, Trustees and school leaders. His role is central to ensuring the Trust maintains strong systems, effective internal controls and sustainable operational arrangements as it plans for future development and growth.
Head of School, Lordswood Boys' School
Lindsay has extensive leadership experience at Lordswood Boys’ School, having previously served as Deputy Headteacher before progressing to Head of School. She has played a significant role in the school’s improvement journey, with leadership experience spanning curriculum, teaching and learning, assessment, school improvement and the development of leaders. Lindsay has contributed to the significant growth of the school, its improved educational outcomes and the establishment of a strong culture of high expectations for pupils and staff. As Head of School, she leads the day-to-day strategic and operational work of LBS, working closely with the CEO and wider leadership team to ensure every pupil benefits from high-quality education, strong pastoral care and exceptional opportunities.
LGB & Trust Governance Professional
Jas has developed extensive knowledge of Lordswood Boys’ School and Central Academies Trust through a range of administrative and professional responsibilities across the organisation. Her experience includes supporting HR, safeguarding and SEND administration, giving her a detailed understanding of the systems, people and processes that underpin the effective operation of the school. Following her appointment as Governance Professional, Jas now supports both the Trust Board and Local Governing Body, helping to ensure effective governance, accurate record keeping and strong communication between Trustees, Governors and senior leaders. Alongside her governance responsibilities, she continues to support the Trust’s HR function, providing valuable continuity and organisational knowledge across CAT.
